This Privacy Policy describes how Pro Saver ("we", "us", or the "App") handles information when you install and use the App. If you do not agree with this policy, please uninstall and discontinue use.

1. Summary

  • We process your content locally on your device. We do not upload your media or messages to our servers.
  • The App needs certain device permissions to function (e.g., reading media/storage, notifications). You can revoke these in your system settings at any time.
  • We show ads through third-party networks (e.g., Google Mobile Ads) which may collect certain data per their own policies.

2. What We Process

The App processes data locally to provide features like viewing, saving, and recovering media/statuses.

  • Media files (images, videos, audio) available on your device within supported folders.
  • Basic metadata from your device file system (file names, sizes, timestamps, paths).
  • Notifications content (when enabled) for the purpose of deleted-message recovery.
  • App preferences (e.g., language selection) stored via on-device storage (e.g., Shared Preferences, local database).

We do not maintain cloud servers for storing your content.

3. Permissions We Use and Why

Depending on your Android version, the App may request these permissions:

  • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO (Android 13+): Access media for viewing/saving statuses.
  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (up to Android 12): Read media where statuses are stored.
  • MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (special scope): Provide broader access in some OEM setups where status folders are not exposed via standard APIs.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE/WAKE_LOCK: Maintain certain background operations and ensure reliable processing.
  • Notification listener (when enabled by you): Detect and cache notifications to provide deleted-message recovery.

You can decline or revoke permissions; some features will be limited or unavailable without them.

4. Local-Only Processing and Media Accuracy

  • Processing is performed on your device; we do not transmit your media to our servers.
  • Due to OS and app-integration limits, media can occasionally appear swapped or misattributed between chats. Please verify at the source chat before sharing sensitive content.

5. Advertising and Third Parties

The App displays ads (banner, interstitial, app open). We integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). These third parties may collect information such as:

  • IP address, device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), app usage events, and coarse device information.
  • Ad engagement metrics (impressions, clicks), approximate location (if enabled), and crash/diagnostic signals.

Personalized Ads

Where supported, you can manage ad personalization via your device settings (e.g., reset/limit the Advertising ID, turn off ad personalization in Google settings). The App may also honor consent status provided by the platform/SDK when available.

6. Analytics, Crash Logs

We do not run our own analytics servers. Diagnostic logs may be stored locally or collected by SDKs (e.g., Google) in accordance with their policies to improve performance and reliability.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Media saved via the App remains on your device until you delete it.
  • App preferences and caches are stored locally; you can clear them by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in system settings.
  • We do not keep server-side copies of your media.

8. Security

We rely on the security of your device OS sandboxing and permissions model. Keep your device updated, and set a device lock screen for added protection.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law (e.g., 13/16). If you believe a child is using the App contrary to these terms, uninstall the App and contact us.

10. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA and similar)

Because we do not operate servers that store your personal data, most rights (access, deletion, portability) relate to the data already on your device.

  • You can delete media and app data locally at any time.
  • For data collected by third-party SDKs (e.g., AdMob), please refer to their privacy controls.
  • EU/UK users: You may have rights to object or restrict processing and to opt out of personalized ads (see device/Google settings).
  • California residents: You may have rights to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (configure ad personalization settings accordingly).

11. International Transfers

We do not transfer your content to our servers. Third-party SDKs may route data globally per their policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date will be shown above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

By using Pro Saver, you acknowledge that processing primarily happens locally on your device, that ads are served by third-party networks with their own policies, and that occasional media misattribution can occur due to device-level constraints.
